Hillary Morgan Ferrer, founder of Mama Bear Apologetics has a burden for providing accessible apologetics resources for busy moms.  She has a master’s in biology, and her specialties are scientific apologetics, dealing with doubt, and identifying causes and solutions for youth leaving the church.

Amy Division is a former Air Force veteran-turned-writer and podcast cohost for Mama Bear Apologetics.  She received her BS in religion from Liberty University and MA in Christian apologetics from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

This book is a guide to training your kids to know and respect God’s design in a world that has rejected it.  The target audience is mothers (thus the name “mama bears.”) But it is also a valuable resource for fathers and grandparents and anyone in the position of raising children.

Our culture continues to blur. the lines as to what is acceptable.  Yet God’s standards remain clear and unchanging.  This book is written through a biblical lens.

Some of the topics of concern and elaborated on in the book are a worldview, understanding the new sex education standards, the new definitions of identity, expression, sex and attraction, pornography, and same-sex attraction.

This book will help you:

  1. Understand God’s blueprint for gender, sex, marriage, and family.
  2. Identify the tactics being used to lure our children into adopting an unbiblical view of sexuality.
  3. Teach your kids to treat those who hold different beliefs with Christlike compassion without compromising biblical values.

Mama Bear Apologetics is straight forward, not beating around the bush on topics parents and children alike need to be aware of.  There are discussion questions at the end of each chapter.  A study guide to go along with the book is available for those interested in more than just reading.  This book would be a valuable addition to those working in our childcare agencies.
