Arms of Hope is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit charity focused on changing the lives of children and families in crisis by providing a loving Christian environment in which they can grow and develop. AOH is located on three campuses, one in Medina, Texas founded in 1958, another in Quinlan, Texas founded in 1924, and one in Duncanville, Texas founded in 2011. AOH has two primary programs, Residential Group Care and Together.

The Residential Group Care Program provides a warm, loving, family-like, Christian environment where children can grow up safe and secure and develop to their full potential. The Together Program focuses on keeping families with no husband or father figure together by providing basic necessities of life in a safe and nurturing atmosphere while helping single mothers obtain an education and vocational training. Both of these programs have helped change countless lives over the past eighty-seven years.

Services: Christian Homes & Family Services’ vision is a Christian home for every child. The ministry changes lives and builds Christian families by providing free residential and community maternity care for young women with unplanned pregnancies and simultaneously recruits, screens and prepares Christian couples to adopt. The ministry also recruits, screens and trains Christian couples to provide safe and loving, private home foster care for children who have been abused, abandoned, or neglected and are in temporary custody of the State of Texas. Adopting and fostering couples must be committed to the Lord, committed to their marriage, and committed to their children knowing the love of Jesus, and His plan for their life. To promote adoption as an alternative to abortion, Christian Homes provide free Adoption Option training to pregnancy resource center staffs and others who have contact with birth mothers. Christian Homes also provides post-adoption services. Birth mother and adoption services are offered nation-wide. Foster care is limited to east Texas and west central Texas.
